Webinar Discussion about Open Source

Open Source is a term you might hear in technology circles, but does it have any relevance to the average business software user? What does it mean, what does it NOT mean, and what is the value proposition?

Software is just one of many tools used in business today. Open source is about having more control of that tool. This could mean control over the choice of WHERE the software runs (in-house vs. hosted outside, or in "the cloud"). It could also mean user choices beyond the familiar Windows desktop (such as Apple Macs, mobile phones, or other devices).
